For Ear Sake is not a music blog that illegally shares albums, but an outlet geared toward supporting artists. You will get a full sense of what moves me musically through the albums reviewed, videos, and other miscellaneous music topics. For Ear Sake was created to shine a light on different genres, and educate individuals on the importance of supporting the artists we listen to. With an open mind and heart for music, not only will this be an adventure, but the perfect source for inspiration, and a journey for you and I respectively. "And through the production of music, we inspire beauty; a gift crafted perfectly with the lessons of life and the fantasy of our futures."

Breakage - Together/Rain (2009)
Genres: Dubstep, Electronic

Breakage hails from London; which isn't such a surprise since Europe is boiling over with Dubstep musicians. Together/Rain is a 12" single that features only two tracks. "Together" which features David Rodigan, and "Rain".

I've decided to share this 12" single based on all of the rain I've been blessed with since last week. However, the rain at this point isn't putting me in a Jazzy mood; probably because it's a mixture of both rain and sun. The track "Rain" is something my ears can't get enough of. The trickling sound of raindrops mixed with the mellow Dubstep instrumental, and the perfectly dark vocal sample is currently quenching my ears' thirst. This rainy week has been quite emotional until now. The sun is finally peaking through the gloomy skies, and the music from Breakage is uplifting.

If you're into Dubstep or Electronic music for that matter, Breakage is an highly recommended artist to check out. This 12" can be purchased through Discogs (here). However, please be cautious when purchasing from private sellers (communication is key, pay with Paypal, and check the seller's feedback)! I've included the track "Rain" below, so if you like what you hear, please support the artist by purchasing yourself a copy!
