Chase & Status - No More Idols (2011)
Genres: Drum n Bass, Electronic, Grime
The UK has always been the driving force of the Drum & Bass scene, and things are no different today. Chase & Status, a dynamic duo of like-minds, have been on the scene since 06, and deliver each time like it was their first. Their newest album titled "No More Idols" is a diverse mix of high energy drums and sick bass. This album is loaded with featured artist such as Cee-lo Green, Dizzee Rascal, Tinie Tempah, White Lies, Sub Focus, and many more.
When I first heard this album, I kept it on rotation for quite some time before discovering "More than Alot", their debut album. I won't lie, it took me some time to discover how dope Chase & Status really are, but it's better late than never. It's hard to place this album in a genre, even though generally most tracks have a drum and bass groove to them. Click here for a taste.

Great first post mate. I know you're going to illuminate the blog with what you have to offer. I'm glad you're a part of the team.
Also, the US has a lot of great festivals as well. I'm starting to appreciate home before feeling envious of what other places have to offer.
thanks to both of you. i'm so glad to part of a dynamic team with my same passion and love for music. i'm so excited to see where this blog will go,
as far as festivals in the US go, your right. Cochella, Bonoroo, and the Starscape festival are all incredibly dope line-ups of artist imo. But you know how it goes, the grass is always greener.
